Red FM's RJ Mantra rocks in Comedy Circus ka Naya Daur

For the first time ever, the very popular and talented RJ Mantra, host of Mumbai Local (Mon-Sat 5-9pm) on Red FM Mumbai, can be seen participating in the Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur - the new season of Comedy Circus tickling people's funny bone on Sony Entertainment Television. Along with his partner Vishakha, Mantra will be doing what he does best – making people laugh!

The last episode of Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur saw RJ Mantra enthralling the audience with a stellar performance which was a complete laugh riot! RJ Mantra and his partner bagged a standing ovation from the judges Archana Puuran Singh and Sohail Khan who felt their performance was par excellence.

Commenting on the adulation received, RJ Mantra said “It doesn't matter where I perform. Radio, Television, Films, Theater or any other platform, if I enjoy what I am doing my audience is bound to love it. I liked the script which was used in the imagination episode and thus I could do justice to it. I am hoping it continues that way. The standing ovation I got from the judges is motivating, but considering the rate at which reality judges do it, for me the only criteria is self-satisfaction. “

Popularly recognized as the versatile voice that hosts Mumbai Local (Mon to Sat, 5pm – 9pm), on RED 93.5 FM, RJ Mantra has been dabbling in theatre for the last twelve years. His rendezvous with mainstream cinema has bagged him roles which have been very well received by the critics as well as the audiences. Mantra has also anchored several shows on popular youth channels such as Channel V and UTV Bindass apart from his critically acclaimed stint on Comedy Circus.
