Tusshar Kapoor wins Jeeyo Bollywood Awards

Presented by UTV Movies and PVR Cinemas, Tysshar named Best Actor in a Comic Role.

He had the country in splits with his 'Lucky' act in Golmaal 3! Highly appreciated for his comic timing in the film, Tusshar Kapoor has been honored with the award for Best Actor in a Comic Role at the first ever Jeeyo Bollywood Awards presented by UTV Movies and PVR Cinemas.

The first of its kind viewer's choice award, Jeeyo Bollywood Awards has adopted a unique format where the aam junta not just votes for their favourite celebrities but also gets the opportunity to personally hand over the trophies to the winning stars. Presenting the award to Tusshar Kapoor are not one but two ardent fans who have enjoyed Golmaal 3. Being the family entertainer that it was, the film and Tusshar's performance has been loved by fans from an age group spanning between 9 years to 60 years of age.

Two such lucky fans- 10 year old V.V.Pratiksha and 61 year old Jaikishen Dadlani were ecstatic at meeting the star. “I have seen Golmaal 10 times only for Lucky's acting,” said a visibly thrilled Pratiksha. Adding to this Mr. Dadlani said, “His character was hilarious and Tusshar truly deserves this award. I am thankful to UTV Movies and PVR Cinemas to have given me this chance to fulfill my Bollywood dream of meeting the talented actor.”
