ZenithOptimedia India appoints Roopam Garg as COO

Roopam comes in here from Zenithoptimedia London; he will report into India CEO Satyajit Sen.

ZenithOptimedia India has announced today the appointment of Roopam Garg as Chief Operating Officer, India.

Roopam Garg, was until recently “Managing Director, PGM” across ZenithOptimedia, Starcommediavest and central buying team at Zenithoptimedia in London and will now strengthen the overall group structure in India. Roopam will report to Satyajit Sen, the CEO of ZenithOptimedia India.

On his new responsibility, Roopam says “My experience across regions has given me significant understanding on increased market share and I intend to work in tandem with Satyajit towards growing our visibility in this market place.”

Commenting on this appointment, Satyajit Sen said “Roopam comes with enormous network experience and will provide the necessary fillip to our ongoing success in India. His success with ZOG's premier and blue chip clients will also go a long way in leveraging our position for critical business acquisitions.”
