Wodka Gorbatschow runs 'Pure Shots' contest
A PRO-AM movie making contest where the winner will get the chance visit Cannes Film Festival.

'Gorbatschow Pure Shots', a short film contest based on the theme, 'Whoever You Are, Be Pure'. The objective of this contest was to understand this generation's perception of PURITY and their ability to express through the visual medium.
The response has been overwhelming, with hundreds of entries pouring in from all over the country. The eminent jury comprising of some of India's most respected filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Prahlad Kakkar
On www.wgpureshots.com, Voting has begun in great earnest and vigour, with tens of thousands of votes already being cast. The winner of the public voting will get an all expenses paid trip to visit the Cannes Film Festival 2011.
The jury will also be selecting 3 winners. The winner of the 1st prize will get an amazing once in a life time opportunity to direct a short film under the aegis of Mahesh Bhatt.

Mahesh Bhatt, the veteran director, said, “It has been very interesting to watch and judge films with so many different perspectives. Film makers must passionately express their own world view. They must retain their individuality at all cost! Judging is a tough task, but since this is a contest, someone has to win. Good luck to all participants”.
