publive-imageHemanth Shah, president of OOH initiatives at Lintas Media Group, has been appointed to the Board of Aaren Initiative as its Managing Director, with immediate effect. He was elevated as the Director in the Board of Directors in Frebruary 2011. Hemanth joined Lintas Media Group as President, OOH in July 2010 from Times OOH.

"Hemanth is a highly knowledgeable veteran in the OOH space and has brought in many new learnings and important businesses since he joined Lintas Media Group some months ago. This appointment and additional responsibility is a reflection of his capability and potential," says Lynn de Souza, Chairman CEO of Lintas Media Group and Chairman of Aaren Initiative.

An MBA in marketing with over 20 years of work experience spanning functions across sales, marketing, research and general management in diverse companies - Tata Press, Mudra Group, Alban communications (in London and Mumbai), Hansa Research, Future Group, his last assignment was with Times Group as Revenue Head of OOH.

At the Times Group, he was instrumental in the team achieving major landmarks like clocking highest revenue on key media and implementing a tight credit policy. His forte is in growing relationships, forging alliances and building teams & processes to acquire and grow sustainable business.

Having worked over 15 years in the OOH media space, he is among the few domain specialists who has seen all sides of the medium – planning, buying, research and selling. He evangelized and set up media in the ambience of consumption while at Future Group, especially as a part of the team that launched retail digital signage in India – Future TV.
