The new campaign of Dishtv is a continuous endeavor to take a leadership stance in the world of High Definition. The single minded message of 30 HD channels is a first of it’s kind offering in the Indian market which is far far ahead than competiton . This message is vivified by the various characters interacting with Shahrukh Khan - the brand ambassador of dishtv. The congregation of these characters in the TVC accentuates the drama and brings alive the fun of watching so many channels in High Definition.
The campaign is conceptualized by McCann World Group TAG Ideation.
The myriad of characters denote that an erstwhile limited channel content space is right now abuzz with 30 HD channels which matches the consumer need of more channels . Each of these characters are designed to signify a particular genre like WWE, Cricket, Movies, Lifestyle, GEC, Music etc. The desired response of the TVC is engineered for consumers to sit up and acknowledge the introduction of 30 channels as a new paradigm in the high definition entertainment experience. Once the aspirational value is sufficiently delivered by the TVC it ends up with the slug line “Are you HDed yet”. This throws up a question to non-HD viewers about the desirability of the product and whether they are missing out on something big which will redefine TV entertainment.
