publive-imageThe Association of Radio Operators of India has announced the second edition of the Radio Conference 2011 to be held in the capital on Monday, March 28, 2011. With the upcoming Phase III of privatization, the Radio Conference 2011, being held in association with Kingdom of Dreams, will focus on a brand new era and vision of private radio in India. The Radio Conference 2011 is expected to be a landmark event as the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is likely to discuss the Phase III of privatization in the keynote address.

The Radio Conference 2011 will be graced by Ambika Soni, Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Raghu Menon, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting along with a star studded guest list including names like Sharmila Tagore, Yash Chopra, Hema Malini, Kapil Dev, Madhur Bhandarkar, Kiran Bedi and more. The event will be attended by all major players in the radio and broadcasting industry along with counterparts from advertising, media planning & buying agencies, policy makers and technological support providers etc.

The highlight of the conference will be deliberations on strategic & policy Initiatives for growth of the industry and realigning perspectives on Phase III of privatization. The conference will also include an exhibition of Technological Innovations in radio and a gala evening with entertainment shows and the first Radio Industry Honors for the stalwarts of radio who have shaped the present scenario of radio in India.
