UTV World Movies Partners With BIG Cinemas

To host Oscar film festival showcasing films which are yet to release in India.

Mumbai – It's that time of the year again where spotlight is on the red carpet for the biggest film awards. As Hollywood gears up for Academy awards and speculations begin on who will take the golden lady home, BIG Cinemas in association with UTV World Movies brings to all the movie aficionados some of the best films of 2009 & 2010 which made their way into Oscar nominations.

Oscar Fever begins from February 11 to February 17, 2011 in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jalandhar and the tickets are priced at a flat rate of Rs 100 (with the exception of Metro BIG Cinemas).  The festival will feature highly acclaimed films like The Social Network, Inception, Avatar, Inglorious Basterds, 127 Hours, Toy Story 3 and Inside Job and will also showcase films like True Grit and Rabbit hole which are yet to release in India.

UTV World Movies associates with Big Cinemas keeping in mind the brand fit of getting best of films from across the world to our patrons. In the past too the channel had exposed its audience with showcasing the movie in a big screen, with this initiative the channel re-emphasis the fact that it will continue entertaining its patrons in every possible way.
