Strengthening the creative team, Scarecrow Communications Ltd. has roped in Bhavik Gajjar as Creative Director from JWT TORONTO. He has also worked in TAXI TORONTO, one of the highly reputed Creative Agency from TORONTO.

Originally from Mumbai, Bhavik started his career with OgilvyOne till one day the idea of venturing out to unexplored territory enticed him enough to pack up and head out.

He landed in Toronto in 2002 to pave his way through the advertising industry in Canada.

According to Bhavik, “My first lesson was a crash course in Canadian winter. I quickly learned that the best way to survive is to spend time indoors, and I did just that at agencies like Leo Burnett, Cossette, TAXI and JWT. I worked on an interesting mix of accounts during this time, including McDonalds, Nestle, Kraft, Walmart, Yellow Pages, TELUS Telecommunications and Salvation Army. I won awards too, though to be honest, getting recognition from Cannes, One Show, The Bessies, Young Guns, Applied Arts and The New York Festivals was a strange upside for someone just trying to keep warm.”

“Still, despite the successes, home was calling. And as it turned out, so were two nice chaps named Manish and Raghu and their AD Agency, Scarecrow. Everything about them as individuals and as ad people aligned with my core beliefs about our business. Realizing this was an opportunity too good to pass up, I decided to pack my bags for the second time and come home—to Mumbai,” concludes Bhavik.
