publive-imageAs 2011 nears its end, people are filled with mixed emotions about what the new hear holds for them. Many are cynical given the current financial and economic environment, and do not think 2012 will ring in anything new. However, Coca-Cola India is looking at spreading a positive and happy message through this “happy” campaign.

The beverage major has launched its new campaign – 'Believe in a Happier Tomorrow' – which weaves a world of hope and optimism, with reasons to believe in 'happiness'. The idea is to reassure that the future will usher in times that will be brighter and happier.

Anupama Ahluwalia, VP - Marketing, Coca-Cola India & South West Asia, said, “Coca-Cola has spread happiness for over 125 years. As we prepare to usher in another New Year, it is the season of spreading cheer and the perfect time to look ahead with a positive outlook. Our latest campaign captures the spirit of hope and optimism, further establishing the brand's 'philosophy' by urging people to believe in a happier tomorrow. This is more than just a campaign for Coca-Cola and we are confident that it will strike a chord of happiness among our consumers and the chorus of happy children will warm the hearts and add to the spirit of positivity for the coming year.”

The 'Believe in a Happier Tomorrow' campaign has been conceptualised by the creative team of McCann Delhi led by Prasoon Joshi. Even the lyrics of the ad jingle have been penned by Joshi himself. Shantanu Moitra has composed the music for the film and it has been directed by Kaushik Sarkar. The production house is Apostrophe.

The TVC:

Like previous campaigns of Coca-Cola, this one too brings a fresh approach and the music along with its inspirational lyrics makes it stand out. All in all, it is an endearing campaign that seeks to spread cheer and happiness by showing that there is more good than bad in the world.
