publive-imageThe calendar year of 2011, is almost at an end and a new year of change awaits us. With an eye on the future, it's time to look back at the year that was and introspect on some of the key issues that highlighted the Indian horizon.

The battle against inflation, punctuated by RBI's interest rates hikes, and a slowing growth rate was a dominant theme throughout the year. While, the fight against corruption got Anna Hazare to the forefront of national debate as the Jan Lokpal Bill became a bane for the UPA government. The government came under further pressure amidst allegations of involvement in the 2G scams, illegal mining controversies and stalled reforms as 'policy paralysis' became another buzzword. With consumer confidence going south and the rupee saw a steep fall against the dollar starting August, the world is now looking at India's next move as they re-evaluate their positions. CNBC-TV18, India's No. 1 business medium, will reflect the key issues that India as a maturing global economy faces, with a series of shows at the end of the calendar year.
