Star Plus & Sony up; Zee TV loses eyeballs

KBC ends well with 5 TVR in its last week; Balika Badhu comes back as No.2 show with 5.4 TVR

According to the TAM viewership measurement data released for Week 47 of 2011, India's No.1 Hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus followed by Sony at No. 2 have registered a slight growth in their GRPs. Colors remained stable while Zee TV has seen a dip of 14 GRPs this week.

In its finale week, KBC garnered an average of 5 TVR while Colors' Balika Badhu has bounced back to No. 2 with 5.4 TVR.

The top 5 shows for Week 47 (November 13 - 19) are Saathiya (5.8 TVR), Balika Badhu (5.4 TVR), KBC (5.0 TVR), BALH (3.8 TVR), and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (3.7 TVR).

Star Plus continues to lead the Hindi GEC space by adding 4 GRPs this week. The channel has recorded 314 GRPs (last week 310).

Sony Entertainment Television too has shown a slight growth in its GRP in the finale week of Season 5 of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The channel has registered 269 GRPs this week (last week 260).

Eyeing the No. 2 position post KBC, Colors remained stable this week recording 234 GRPs (last week 235).

After a huge gain in the last week, Zee TV has lost 14 GRPs this week. The channel has recorded 161 GRPs this week (last week 175).

SAB TV has slipped 9 GRPs this week to register 115 GRPs (last week 124).

At No. 6, Imagine TV has recorded 78 GRPs this week (last week 71).

Star One has registered 45 GRPs (last week 47), while Sahara One has 40 GRPs (last week 38).
