CNN-IBN India's most awarded English News Channel is all set to host its flagship event CNN-IBN Indian of the Year Award 2011 which will laud the luminaries and dynamic individuals whose contribution in the year 2011 have strengthened the foundation of our society and have helped build Brand India in the process.

These iconic Indians will be chosen from five different categories - Politics, Sports, Business, Entertainment and Public Service. The selection process to the awards adheres to a 4-tier selection process which includes nominations from the Network18 editorial board, ratified by the Jury, and the voting by the Electoral College and the Citizens of the country.
