publive-imageSuresh Selvaraj, President, Outlook Group, has put in his papers after a 13-year association with the publishing company.  However, he will continue till the end of December 2011. Thereafter, Selvaraj plans to take a break. “I will take a sabbatical for a few months after which I will decide the course of my future,” he said.

Selvaraj, who joined the Outlook Group in 1998, said, “Outlook has always been the pride and Marie Claire, the passion. It's not easy for me to let go of both. Both these magazines are part of my system and I have always felt a sense of ownership of these magazines, especially Marie Claire, which is very close to my heart. She is my baby.” Marie Claire was launched in 2006.

He added, “I am not naive to believe that I am indispensable. Outlook Group is very strong with sufficient strength to face any situation. I strongly felt that I need to give it a pause after three decades in print media.”

Selvaraj is an MBA from Loyola Institute of Business Administration. He was promoted from the position of Vice-president in 2008, and was given charge of Outlook, Outlook Saptahik and Marie Claire.
