Metal Communication appoints Gaurav Soi as GM

The former Grey hand will head the independent integrated marketing company's Mumbai operations

Metal Communications has appointed Gaurav Soi as General Manager in charge of its Mumbai operations. Metal is an independent Mumbai headquartered integrated marketing communications company set up in December 2008. He will report to Ambarish Ray, Vice-president.

Just before joining Metal, he was with Line Communications looking after business development and brand management. Soi had been with Grey for ten years as Associate VP - Client Services Director. He has over 12 years of experience across companies like Grey and Ambience Publicis and has looked after and led various homegrown as well as international brands.

Said Soi on his new role, “I am indeed proud to be a part of team Metal. The company is at a very interesting and challenging phase and I am looking forward to working with the core team and charting the course ahead.”

Ray said, “Metal is ready for its next level of growth. With Gaurav's experience and expertise, he is the right man for the job of driving our largest and fastest growing office.”
