publive-imageMedia2win, a full-service digital agency, has turned its focus on new initiatives like social media. Media2win has recently done digital campaigns for Tata Sky Mobile Access, Titan and Max New York Life.

Krishna Kumar, Founder & CEO, Media2Win, said, “We want the agency to become more creative in social media activities. We currently have 50 people and will grow by 40-50 per cent in the next year.”

Talking about the Tata Sky digital campaign, Kumar said, “The communication objective was to introduce the Tata Sky Mobile Access Application built for iPhone and Android. This mobile app turns your cellphone (iPhone/Android) or iPad into a universal remote. Simply put, you can change channels, record shows and do everything a universal remote does by downloading the app and attaching an infrared device to your phone. Not just that, with this app you can also share what you're watching with everyone on Facebook and Twitter. The communication showed Aamir Khan and Cyrus Sahukar talking to each other on the phone, with Aamir guessing what Cyrus was watching with the help of this app.”

The campaign received 60 million+ views with a unique reach of close to 24 million. This generated more than 3 lakh clicks, informed Kumar.

The target audience comprised existing Tata Sky subscribers and prospective set-top box customers. The campaign targeted the audience on the key genres of news, entertainment, TV content, technology, social & professional networking, search, as well as users of iPhone/iPad and Android phones. “We created communication customised for each site and focused on innovative properties on several sites. The banner units were a mix of rich media and video. We created a 250x300 banner that urged people to check the gutter spaces to know the truth about Cyrus. In the gutters, Aamir Khan urged people to click on the image if they wanted to know what Cyrus was watching on TV, with Cyrus reacting every time a person clicked,” Kumar explained.

For the Titan HTSE campaign, to engage with consumers on the digital platform, a website www.titanhtse.com has been created. This website draws inspiration from the unique technology of the HTSE platform which is “light powered”.  The users enter the website by holding up any source of light to their webcam. The homepage of the site features an HTSE watch synced to the user's system time as the central piece.

Namrata Balwani, COO, Media2win, said, “Since the Titan HTSE watch is light powered, we wanted consumers to have a similar experience when they visited the site. The site has been designed to bring out this core feature beginning from using a light source to enter via a webcam. Using creative technology on digital media is always exciting.”

Talking about the Max New York Life campaign, Balwani said, “Our aim was to partner parents in the wholesome development of children. The iGenius programme is a collection of initiatives aimed at discovering a child's hidden talent and all-round potential early enough. The programme not only facilitates monetary backing but also partners in nurturing a child's abilities and securing his/her future, acting on the consumer insight that parents love to talk about parenting, especially since there is no single right way of parenting.

Balwani explained that parents are constantly seeking ideas and suggestions to improve their parenting skills. “Our primary focus was to develop and nurture an authentic first of a kind parenting community on Facebook and Twitter by launching the iGenius programme. An official blog and YouTube channel were created to discuss parenting issues. Parents and field experts such as school principals and child psychologists were interviewed,” she said.
