publive-imageThe Wild East Group, India's premier strategic brand licensing and business development agency announced an alliance with Dr. Seuss, one of the greatest children's properties of all time. The Wild East Group will use its considerable resources to introduce and grow the Dr. Seuss property in India by building programs that foster creativity and stimulate the mind.

“The Wild East Group has the experience and creativity to identify and develop key product lines that provide a more personalized Dr. Seuss experience for our fans,” said Susan Brandt, President, Dr. Seuss Enterprises. “Our partnership will allow Dr. Seuss to truly be a global character that influences, engages and teaches children all over the world much like it has in the rest of the world.”

The Wild East Group will work towards leveraging the powerful Dr. Seuss brand through relevant and compelling consumer products in infant, children, and tween segments across education, apparel, accessories, and other categories. The program will serve not only to engage Dr. Seuss's current fans, but also will expand the brand's reach to new audiences and introduce Dr. Seuss to a whole new generation of fans in India.

“The Wild East Group is extremely proud to be working with one of the world's most re-known children's properties,” said Sid Shah, President and CEO of The Wild East Group. “This will be the first foray into India for the brand, and we see significant opportunities and growth for licensing opportunities which will be complimented and supported by a Harper Collins book launch by summer of 2011 and a major motion picture in 2012 by Universal”.
