Vizeum bags media duties for MTV India

Vizeum India is already the media AoR for Viacom 18 group’s kids channel Nickelodeon.

MTV India, as a part of its strategic media planning move appoints Aegis Media’s Vizeum India as its media agency. Vizeum India, a world renowned media agency that operates in 55 countries will now handle MTV’s media planning and execution across electronic, print and online media. In addition to media buying and planning, Vizeum will also support MTV India’s digital and marketing initiatives.

MTV, with its clear leadership and stature, has been responsible for various programming innovations and formats which captures the imagination of the today’s youth. In recent times, MTV has been in news for its innovative marketing campaigns across Coke Studio@MTV and StuntMania-Underground. Vizeum India, with the belief of building bridges of relevance between brands and consumers in a meaningful manner by understanding how media, brands and lives co-exist in the actual world through an in depth understanding of the consumer motivations will further strengthen MTV’s leadership positioning. This appointment will follow the channel’s aggressive growth plans for the coming years.

Confirming the appointment of Vizeum India, Aditya Swamy, Channel Head, MTV India says, “Our audience is everywhere and yet nowhere, and to catch them we need to use non-traditional techniques and constantly innovate with new media and platforms. The association of these two companies promises a better technological delight for the target audience of the channel making the channel even more preferred. Nickelodeon, part of the Viacom 18 group, was already being serviced by Vizeum India
