publive-imageAs the TAM viewership data for the week 35 is out, it does not bring any surprise. Despite the fact the Anna movement had forced viewers to stick to the news channels resulting in the increase of their viewership, the General Entertainment Channels seem unaffected in a big way. Almost all the channels have been able to hold the eyeballs except Zee TV which has lost 14 GRPs. While Star Plus remains the only gainers in the week 35, Sony Entertainment Channel continues to be the No.2 channel. The dream run of KBC continued in the second week; however, the average TVR has slipped down to 4.3 making it the third most watched program of the week. Sony's Bade Achche Lagte Hain has jumped up one position to become 4th most watched program of the week.

The top 5 programs for the week 35 (21-27 August) are Sathiya (5.2 TVR), Balika Vadhu (4.7 TVR), KBC (4.3 TVR), Bade Achche Lagte Hain (3.9 TVR) and Pavitra Rishta (3.9 TVR).

India's No.1 Hindi General Entertainment channel Star Plus has emerged as the only channel to add a few GRPs this week. The channel has recorded 299 GRPs this week (last week 297).

Sony Entertainment Television which acquired second position last week continues to be the second most watched channel in the second consecutive week. However, the channel has lost a few GRPs this week and recorded 242 GRPs (last week 245).

Colors has seen a marginal dip and registered 228 GRPs (last week 232 GRPs).

Zee TV has further lost 14 GRPs to come down at 180 GRPs this week (last week 194).

SAB TV has maintained the status quo at 128 GRPs (last week 128).

India's No.6 Hindi general entertainment channel Imagine TV has recorded 75 GRPs in this week (last week 76).

Star One has recorded 31 GRPs in week 35 of TAM 2011 (last week 34) and Sahara One has recorded 31 GRPs (last week 31).
