publive-imageWhistling Woods International (WWI) creates history by mentoring fresh new talent and introducing them to the film industry, in the recently released film 'Love Express', produced by Mukta Searchlight. The film was directed by debutant director, Sunny Bhambhani, a WWI graduate and it also involved 10 more WWI students in the making of the film, right from the star cast to the crew.

“Love Express has come through fully, due to the support and training provided by WWI. The institute has been instrumental in providing appropriate assistance, guidance, and expertise required for the film-making process. Apart from that, the eleven of us from WWI have put our hearts and soul into the film and we truly hope that it appeals the audience,” says Sunny Bhambani, director and an ex-student of WWI.

Subhash Ghai, Chairman of WWI and Producer of Love Express says, “The idea behind launching an all-in-one school for entertainment and media, was to provide a platform for budding talent who get a firsthand experience in the field.”  Talking about the film, he further adds, “I am very excited that WWI students are increasingly making their mark in the industry. I would like to congratulate them in this endeavor and also wish them all the very best for their first film. This is just the beginning and I am confident that they will ascend beyond aspirations, making all of us at WWI very proud.”

'Love express', has been set against the backdrop of a Punjabi wedding on a train, includes four lead actors, two supporting actors, one sound engineer,  an editor, two production executives and a marketing executive. There is a nervous excitement in the WWI camp as all wait to see the fruits of mentorship and labour come a full circle.

“I'm super excited for the film. The two years in WWI were much needed. It was very important for someone to give me a reality check about the hard work and preparation that goes into becoming a professional actor and WWI did exactly that. I thank WWI for teaching me that acting is much beyond than just imitating lines and giving me this opportunity,” says Sahil Mehta, one of the leads of the film.
