Shemaroo Entertainment releases Bheja Fry 2 in overseas territories

Releasing the movie today across different theatres worldwide excluding India and Bhutan.

Shemaroo Entertainment, the leading aggregator and distributor in India, releases the sequel of the super hit Movie Bheja Fry - Bheja Fry 2 in overseas territories. The film is produced by Mukul Deora and directed by Sagar Ballary, who also directed the first movie.

After the stupendous success of the first film, Bheja Fry 2 is expected to bring back the hilarious style of the original idiot – Vinay Pathak who gave you good belly laughs in Bheja Fry. A team of new cast is ready again to knock into the life our adorable idiot 'Bharat Bhushan' and drive you crazy with their humorous punches. Vinay Pathak, Minissha Lamba ,Amole Gupte, Kay Kay Menon, Suresh Menon, M.T. Shekharan, Rahul Vohra, Aditi Govitrikar, Rahul Singh, Virendra Saxena, form the part of the cast.

Shemroo Entertainment is releasing the movie on 17^th June'11 across different theatres world wide excluding India and Bhutan. The company owns all commercial and non-commercial rights of Exhibition, distribution and exploitation except the earlier mentioned territories.

Hiren Gada, Director, Shemaroo Entertainment shares his thoughts on the occasion “Bheja Fry was very well received by the audience world wide. In fact people are waiting for the sequel to catch the desi spunk on the foreign land. We are sure that Bheja Fry 2 will do even better than its first movie.” He adds “Other than traditional medium, we are also planning to monetize the movie on newer and emerging platforms like IPTV, mobile and internet in long term.”

Good hearted but not worldly-wise, the rolly-polly tax inspector, Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak) is back to fulfill his long cherished dream of becoming a singer. To further his media ambition he enters a game show hoping to win a cash prize with which he can make his own music album. Eventually Bhushan goes on to win the competition which also gifts him a free stay on a cruise ship. It is on this cruise that he meets Ajit Talwar (Kay Kay Menon), an acrid tongue sadistic business tycoon, who is taking sheath on the cruise to flee from the Income Tax department. Close on his heels is tax inspector M.T.Shekharan (Suresh Menon), who is trying to unearth the identity of a financial scamster who has been elusive since long.

On the ship, after a string of oddball occurrences owing to a mistaken identity, Ajit Talwar and Bharat Bhushan wind up stranded on a deserted island.It is on the island that Ajit realises what a pain Bharat Bhushan is. His stupidity drives Ajit up the wall.

The story gets even more interesting from here as they try finding their way out of the island. With Bharat Bhushan finding the way to his dream and Ajit Talwar trying to recluse from Bharat Bhushan and Income Tax, some more characters add to the complication and spice of the brawl.
