publive-imageFinally, JWT has made its maiden nomination in Cannes 2011 for its work on Bharti Airtel. The 'Endless Goodbye' campaign that was marked as the launch spot for the telco's 3G video calls service has bought the good fortune for the agency in the 'Commercial public services' sub-category.

Another entry that made its way to the short listings (any many other!) is the 'Silent National Anthem' for Reliance Media Works by Mudra communication. This entry is under the sub head of 'Corporate Image' in the Films category.

The jury to the cateogary was represented by Tony Granger, Global Chief Creative Officer, Y&R and Malvika Mehra, National Creative Director, Grey India. There were total 61 entries from India for Film Lions this year.

But for the final metals announcement, lips are sealed till Saturday, 25 June 2011.

For the record, Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai bagged only Silver Lion in Film category last year for its Bell Bajao campaigns – Software Engineer and Bus Driver against domestic violence for Breakthrough Trust.
