MWG TAG wins creative duties for Blackberrys

The apparel brand has awarded its Autumn-Winter collection assignment to the agency after a multi-agency pitch.

MWG TAG Ideation, the creative agency of McCann Worldgroup in India, has been awarded the creative mandate for the famous ready-to-wear fashion brand – Blackberrys. Blackberrys, a well established label in the premium men's RTW segment from Mohan Clothing Co. Pvt. Ltd,  had recently undertaken a creative pitch process involving multiple leading agencies. After almost two months of presentations, the Autumn-Winter Collection assignment was awarded to MWG TAG team.

Announcing the decision,  Yogesh Tiwari, VP, Marketing & Sales of Blackberrys said "Blackberrys, is amongst the top 3-4 brands in fashion & refined formal menswear and has aggressive plans for a quantum jump. We have a new marketing plan & strategy in place for our branding. We see MWG TAG Ideation as a strong partner with huge creative potential which will help us further strengthen our new brand imagery.”

It is noteworthy that this is the second big win for the agency in the last few weeks. Early May, the agency was awarded the prestigious assignment for India's first F1 racing arena, Buddh Interantional Circuit, by Jaypee group. Besides these new wins, the agency continues to manage key businesses like Dish TV,Videocon's Consumer Electronics, Mobile handsets & GSM Mobile services, Zee News & ESPNamongst others.
