In a bid to make the newspaper more interactive Dainik Jagran has launched Young Editior programme. Jagran Young Editor is one such initiative which aims to educate youngsters about the nuances of news business. Students between 12 to 17 years of age will be trained in news making. Youngsters will attend a workshop on various aspects editorial from the experts in Dainik Jagran Editorial Team.

World's most read newspaper and India's No.1 Hindi Daily Dainik Jagran is known for its consumer connect activities to engage with its readers on various occasions. Dainik Jagran has strong conviction and belief in young talent and has always strived to create and design its editorial to educate and guide them to become a good citizen and creditable individuals.

This activity is being conducted across all editions of Dainik Jagran in 11 states. With readership of 1,14,15,000 in 12 to 17yrs age group, the reach of Jagran Young Editor is massive. The largest talent hunt in print media aims to generate interest of young minds towards the fraternity.

Workshop and Training session for the participants will be on various aspects of newspaper creation. Eventually participants have to design newspaper on the blank newsprint provided to them. Participants have to use 15 days of Dainik Jagran to collect news for the project.

Recently, another activity by Jagran on Mother's Day managed to receive brimming emotional responses from readers.  Dainik Jagran created an opportunity for its readers to celebrate and show gratitude towards Mothers on 8th of May. It was for the first time that Mother's Day was celebrated across Dainik Jagran all editions touching the heart of 5.5 crore publive-imagereaders. The concept was designed in such a manner that it appealed to all age groups. The daily received huge response from the readers where they paid tribute to Mother and Motherhood on this auspicious day. We bring you one such response from a student of class 3 (see the picture).

Readers were asked to submit their write up and poems on various topics. The response pour from all age groups as Dainik Jagran created an opportunity to show gratitude towards the best creation of nature “Mother”.

On 8th of May, Mother's Day, 37 special feature page in 37 editions was designed in the women special supplement Sangini wherein content was developed on the readers contribution. Dainik Jagran also arranged a prize distribution function across its edition.

The activity witnessed brimming emotion in form of experience sharing, write ups, poems and participation.
