Y-Films becomes India's first user of live chat on YouTube

YouTube Live Chat lets tube users to stream Live videos and allow viewers to chat in realtime.

All this time YouTube, the hugely popular video sharing site from Google, was used to view, upload and share videos. Yesterday, the users got an all new experience on YouTube Live Chat.

An interesting feature introduced by YouTube, YouTube Live Chat lets tube users to stream Live videos and allow viewers to chat in realtime. This feature which has been made available to exclusive tube clients is being used in a smart way.

Y-Films, sister concern of Yash Raj Films became the first Youtube partner to use this feature in India, a first for Bollywood too. The production house had organized a Live Chat with Bumpy (Vivek Bhushan), director of Luv Ka The End, this April 28, 2011 at 4PM.

“Luv Ka The End is a movie targeted at the tech savvy young audience, and this is the first time that a live chat is being done on You Tube, so this is the best way we thought that we can connect with them”, said Ashish Patil, CEO , Y-Films.
