Channel launches its new fiction Dil Dostii Dance

3rd fiction show by the youth channel after its foray in youth fiction through Roomies and Ye Parindey.

April 11, 2011

publive-imageChannel is all set to add to its exciting bouquet of fiction shows with the launch of D3: Dil Dostii Dance. After a strong foray in youth fiction through Roomies and Ye Parindey, the channel brings to its viewers exciting content and fresh talent through a first ever daily youth fiction show that tells a story about a passion that overcomes all obstacles. How often does one come across a girl whose passion turns into a RITUAL, her dream becomes her religion, her GOD. D3 will make you witness one such exciting and passionate story.

Dil Dostii Dance is about a girl who fights against all odds and convention to pursue her biggest romance, her romance with dance. The show chronicles the journey of Kria & Reyansh (Shakti Mohan & Kunwar Amar from Dance India Dance fame), who are determined to follow their passion and be the best at it. Against all odds, the only thing that keeps them motivated is their fervor to dance. Kria comes to Mumbai from a small town with only her biggest dream in her eyes, the dream to follow her passion in Dance, to take the path less taken and pave a career for herself.

Speaking on the new launch, Prem Kamath, GM, Channel adds, “Dance is a genre that has witnessed the greatest spike in viewership across the industry. Dil Dostii Dance is the first ever fiction on dance that will re-invent the fiction genre in the country. While D3 simply tells a story about a girl and her love for dance, the show actually displays the passion and determination of the youth today. It is their belief that a dream chased religiously can bring you immense success and personal satisfaction.”
