With the Cricket World Cup excitement at its peak, Pepsi presents a host of online applications for Youngistaanis to cheer on their favourite teams in true game-changer style.  The Gear Up! application lets fans upload their pictures (or fetch them from Facebook) and put on face paint, add crazy hair styles, match gear and all they need to get into the cheering spirit. Fans can then use these pictures as their Facebook display pictures or share it with friends.

Once the fans are geared up and ready, they can go ahead and join the Pepsi Wave, an attempt to create the largest ever online wave of cheering fans! All they have to do is check out the wave on the Pepsi India Facebook page ( and click to join. The app picks up their geared up pictures and makes them part of the ongoing wave, which they can keep checking out as it gets bigger and bigger. Fans can join thousands of others from around the world in an attempt to create the largest ever wave to show their support for the game. If one likes a more personalized wave, one can also create a wave with just his/her friends and pass it around for people to see or join.

And what's a World Cup without cheering for all the 4s, 6s and wickets! How about friends dancing on the user's desktop for every 4,6 and wicket? That's exactly what the Pepsi Cheerleader Desktop Widget does. Once the fans download the widget onto their desktop, they can keep track of live scores of ongoing matches and for every boundary or wicket, they can see one of their Facebook friends (who have also installed the app) dancing on their desktop.

Pepsi has partnered with Delhi based interactive agency, digiVaasi to conceptualize and develop the applications for its Cricket World Cup campaign, 'Change The Game'. Zapak.com, India's leading online gaming portal has developed digital elements such as the campaign website, the WAP site (mobile) and social media integrations.
