Taking further the channel's promise to be the 'defogger' and viewer's most trusted guide, Bloomberg UTV along with NSE, today initiated a pledge for financial literacy with CB Bhave – Chairman, SEBI and scores of other leaders from the financial industry.

The forthcoming decade 2011-2020, is widely acknowledged as the golden decade in which India will emerge as a Global Economic Superpower. This event held at the NSE Auditorium in Mumbai, was envisaged to herald in the spirit of the new decade that will be defining for not just the country but for every citizen of India.

Under the aegis of this initiative, the channel also unveiled a brand new show 'Fight Back for your right' that aims to address consumers' financial grievances, educate them of their options and guide them towards solutions. Hosted by Vivek Law, Editor, Bloomberg UTV, 'Fight Back for your right' will address a wide array of consumer issues and be a platform for investor protection. A dedicated nationwide helpline - 022 40987444 has been launched for consumers to voice their concerns. Bloomberg UTV will reach out to viewers who call this number to educate them on their rights and voice their opinion to the concerned authorities.
