Vulgarity has finally been banned on the Indian TV. The government has made it clear that in a country like India, no matter how much developed we are, we always stick to its morals and ethics. Making its stands clear, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken strict action against Big Boss and Rakhi ka Insaaf. Both the shows cannot be aired before 11 PM. Not only this, they must have warning for children and no excerpts will be shown on news television.

However, it is not clear at the time of filing of the report that on what norms these programs can get back to their normal slot.

The initial reactions from the industry seems against the government decision, still the fall out of this decision is yet to be seen.

Naresh Chahal, Director, Finance, Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) was surprised with the government's decision and said, “We are yet to receive the copy of order. It is unexpected move from the government. IBF members will discuss the issue and take the necessary steps. Although we are meeting to the Secretary, I&B Ministry on Friday on different issue, we will see if this issue could be discussed for some way out.”

Since its inception on Indian TV Big Boss has always been on the radar of Govt. of India and various cultural and political organizations. Colors has already received a notice from Bhopal court on the telecast of explicit content. Members of the parliament have put forward their voice in the parliament and various sections of the society also think that Big Boss is erasing the line between the morality and Vulgarity with such kind of programming.

It is a great setback to the show Bigg Boss as Baywatch Bombshell Pamela Anderson is entering the Bigg Boss house from today for 3 days and the organizers have reported paid her a huge amount.
