publive-imageIn the day and age when active play is no longer a part of a child's day to day schedule, Nick India, the leading entertainment channel for kids, has announced the third season of its pioneering worldwide movement - Nick Let's Just Play.

As part of the main event Nick will go blank for half an hour on 30th October and simultaneously host on-ground events in 4 cities across the country.  Aimed at imbibing active play and a healthy lifestyle in kids, Let's Just Play believes that children today need to step out and explore a world beyond television and video games.

In its efforts to incorporate play in the life of kids, Nick recently also launched a very engaging and innovative toy offering, 'Squap,' the ultimate catch & chuck game to activate & tease your senses! Squap is also the official game for Lets Just Play 2010!

This year, marks the 3rd season of Let's Just Play and Nick aims to reach out to kids across the country with the thought that every child has the Right to Play and the Right to grow in a balanced manner. This season Nick also endeavors to reach out to the under privileged children from various cities and giving them a chance to enjoy the carefree world of fun and play! As part of the main event Nick will go blank for half an hour on 30th October and simultaneously host on-ground events in 4 cities across the country.

Sonali Bendre, Avika Gaur (of Ballika Vadhu fame) and the entire Nick India team will be present at the inauguration ceremony pledging their support towards this movement and marking 5PM as Playtime for all kids. Nestle Milky Bar is the main sponsor for the campaign and Surf Excel has also joined hands as a co-sponsor.
