Vikas Varma Quits MTV As Creative & Content Head

Varma joined MTV in January 2010; Aditya Swamy gets additional charge to head Creative & Content.

Vikas Varma has put in his papers at MTV as the Head of Creative & Content. He shall however continue to be associated with the channel as a consultant for select programming ideas. Vikas Joined MTV in January 2010.

Confirming the development with BestMediaInfo.com, an official spokesperson of MTV said, “While we look for his replacement, Aditya Swamy, SVP – Marketing & Sales – MTV, will be looking after Creative & Content, in addition to his current responsibilities.”

Before joining MTV, Vikas was heading 9XM where he spent close to 3 years. He joined INX Media Pvt Ltd in March 2007. Vikas had also worked with Radio City has National Programming head from August 2005 to March 2007.
