publive-imageCome January 1st, STAR Gold gears up with new aggressive content initiatives that offer viewers the best Bollywood experience. In a bid to entertain avid movie fans with more of their favourite movies, STAR Gold is set to line up five movies in a day in lieu of the four movies that ran till now. In addition to this, viewers will be privy to an uninterrupted movie viewing experience every day with the one break slot at 5:30 pm on Sundays (Ek Break Express) being extended to all days of the week!

The bonanza continues on STAR Gold, with the first movie of the day scheduled to begin at 7 am and blockbusters with the biggest stars and their best movies aired exclusively at 9 pm on weekday primetime!

Commenting on these pioneering content initiatives, Hemal Jhaveri, Vice President, STAR Gold, said, “Through our consumer insights we observed that typically the television movie viewing experience tends to get affected when interspersed with frequent advertisements. Therefore, keeping our audience preferences in mind, we have extended our one-break slot to each day of the week (Monday-Sunday). Also, as part of a differentiated programming strategy, we have shifted our primetime from 8 pm to 9 pm with Blockbusters @ 9”.
