Grey Mumbai has appointed Shiv Parameswaran as Senior Creative Director to head one of the Reliance communication groups plus the digital responsibilities of Reliance under Executive Creative Directors, Rohit Malkani and Karan Rawat. Shiv joins Grey after a successful 6 year stint at JWT, Chennai. Apart from spear heading the creative work on Pepsi South, he has also worked extensively on Ford, MRF, Times of India and a host of other retail brands. His recent “Galatta” campaign on Mirinda restored the brand’s #No. 1 position in the CSD (Carbonated Soft Drinks) segment down south.

His work for Times of India, Sulekha.com and Pondicherry Tourism has been recognised at the Abbys, Cannes, Young Guns, Spikes Asia, Clio and the One Show. He has a passion for digital/online mediums and he strongly believes that creative content is becoming multi-dimensional. This is where he feels he can make a difference. On his joining Grey, Shiv said, “Change is exciting, and to be part of an agency that is changing so positively is even more exciting. With the passionate young bunch of Amit, Malvika, Rohit and Karan at the helm, I am convinced that I will get to do some interesting work at Grey.”

Rohit Malkani, Executive Creative Director, Grey Mumbai had this to say about the new appointment, “Shiv brings to Grey a clutch of metals, solid brand experience but above all, a breath  of fresh air. His passion and commitment to new media and digital is something we are looking forward to.”

Says Karan Rawat, Executive Creative Director, Grey, Mumbai, “Shiv’s years of experience in advertising, his maturity and temperament made him a perfect fit for a brand like Reliance Mobile. With Shiv comes not only a great crafter of ads but also someone who has a very good understanding of overall communication in print, film and the future of communication, which is digital. We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to his immense contribution to the brand.”
