So many of us harbour aspirations, encapsulate wishes within ourselves, dream big, but seldom do any of them come true! Attempting yet another exciting campaign this festive season, RED FM, the station for expression, takes listener interactivity to another level by fulfilling the wishes of its listeners with 'Har Khwahish Pe Dum Niklega'.
Through this initiative, Red FM-Delhi is encouraging its listeners to share their heart felt wishes through SMS's on 58558. RED FM will then choose the five most interesting wishes on a daily basis out of the plethora of SMS's that they receive. It is here that a twist unfolds. Shortlisted listeners will be subjected to one task each and their wishes will only be granted when they complete the task successfully.
The campaign which will run until 31st of December, 2010, seeks to garner maximum listener participation with exciting tasks and loads of gifts to be won each day.
The campaign which started on 13th December has already created quite a stir in the capital city! Red FM OB RJ's are constantly on the move across the city with promoters and placards helping the listeners perform tasks. Wishes ranging from wanting a gorgeous wedding lehenga to a swanky wrist watch have been pouring in from all corners. Innovative tasks such as selling a box full of AIR for Rs 100 have been attempted wholeheartedly and successfully completed.
Commenting on this latest campaign, Nisha Narayanan, senior VP, projects and programming, RED FM said “Red FM in its truly Bajaate Raho style is celebrating an energetic, interactive and fun filled festive season with its listeners. This campaign is sure to engage the listeners and ensure maximum participation adding to the festivities and spreading a lot of joy amongst them. The tasks given to the listeners carry the edginess and the fun spirit of the 'Aaj ke zamaane ka radio station'. I would say, red FM brings in 2011 for its listeners in a truly Bajaate Raho fashion!”
The on air campaign will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign across New Delhi. Hoardings at prime locations, RJ interactions on-ground and branding at various touch points like metros and bus shelters will familiarize the listeners with the contest.
As a part of its Bajaao for a Cause initiative, Red FM partnered with Make A Wish Foundation, and fulfilled wishes of four children on 25th December, 2010 across the shows.
