Joseph Eapen, Chief Executive Officer of Media Research Users Council (MRUC) has put in his papers. Joseph joined MRUC in April this year.

A senior spokesperson of MRUC has confirmed the development with BestMediaInfo.com.

During his tenure at MRUC, Joseph has played a key role in transforming the MRUC into a vibrant organization that spearheads the cause of timely, credible and cost effective research across all media. He also helped MRUC extend the Indian Outdoor Survey (IOS) this year.

Not only this, Joseph was instrumental in the partnership between MRUC and Australia's oldest and largest independent market research company, Roy Morgan Research (RMR) this month which will launch India's first national Single Source survey.

Prior to joining MRUC, Joseph was associated with overnight television rating agency Audience Map (aMap) as CEO.

Eapen has 18 years of experience in media research in India and abroad and has done extensive research in print, television, radio as well as other consumer research.
