Disney XD Shows Spider-Man Live In Mumbai

To present more 17 first-ever Spider-Man live shows across 5 cities in India.

Everyone's favorite Marvel Super Hero – “Spider-Man” made a spectacular entry into India atop a city skyscraper this afternoon. The web slinging Super Hero is here to spin his web across five cities with 17 shows of his first-ever live performance in the country. He was seen surveying the city skyline and iconic landmarks of Mumbai before enthralling all his India fans with his shows beginning on December 25, 2010 in Mumbai.

Disney XD is calling Spider-Man fans of all ages to witness the thrilling live performance and a special chance to strike their very own 'Spider-Man' pose with Spider-Man himself starting this Christmas day! The cities and schedule of his performance is as follows:

Mumbai: December 25, 2010 – Inorbit Mall, Link Road Malad (West)

Ahmedabad: December 28, 2010 – Iscon Mega Mall, Rajpath Club, SG Road

Delhi: December 31, 2010 – Ambience Mall, NH 8, Near Toll Plaza, Gurgaon

Kolkata: January 4, 2011 – Citi Centre, New Town, Noapara, Action Area - 2D

Hyderabad: January 7, 2011 – Inorbit Mall, APIIC Software layout, Madhapur

Commenting on Spider-Man's upcoming shows in India, Walt Disney Television International India VP and GM, Natasha Malhotra said, “We are very excited to bring all Disney XD's Spider-Man fans this amazing opportunity to watch him perform live. This is a part of our ongoing endeavor to provide kids and families unique experiences around their favorite characters and programs.”

In every city, the show will include a 30 minute hi-octane, action packed live performance followed by a special meet and greet for a select number of kids who have participated in Disney XD's Spider-Man contest. In addition, the spectators will also get to participate in interactive games and on ground contests. Each of the five cities will witness a relay of minimum three half hour shows at short intervals. Mumbai and Delhi will have four shows. The shows are being produced by JBC- MEI.
