Celebrating the success of their on-going business reality shows – ‘The PITCH’ and ‘The Assignment’ and taking it a step further, Bloomberg UTV, India's premiere business news channel, has announced its association with Indian Institute of Management – Calcutta (IIM-C). Incidentally, IIM-C, the first IIM, has entered its 50th year on November 14, 2010 and has started celebrating its Golden Jubilee. This association entitles the winner of THE PITCH with an opportunity of a lifetime to be mentored at IIM-C for a period of one year.
‘THE PITCH’, being the first of its kind business reality show, saw some of the most prominent business leaders like Rahul Bajaj, Kishore Biyani, Naina Lal Kidwai and N Damodaran amongst others, across varied industries analyzing and guiding the aspiring entrepreneurs set out to prove their mettle. A robust mentorship program has been designed and conceptualized by IIM-C exclusively for the winner of ‘THE PITCH’, enabling the aspirant to execute his/her business idea successfully. The institute will guide and mentor the winner thereafter for a period of one year to further enhance his/her business acumen.
Intaglio, IIM-C’s annual international B-school meet, attracts the brightest business minds from India and abroad thereby providing a platform to the participants to brainstorm, express and fulfill their quest for excellence. Intaglio 2011 is special as it is an important feature of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Institute Moving ahead, Bloomberg UTV will raise the bar by challenging the participants of Intaglio to attempt The Assignment!
