Starting 12th November, Ten Sports will be focusing in the Indian athletes centric events.

publive-imageIndia's premier Sports Network, Ten Sports Network Ltd will be telecasting the 16th Asian Games from Guangzhou starting 12th November to 26th November, 2010 LIVE. The event will be broadcast LIVE on Ten Sports and Ten Action. A total of 476 events in 42 sports will be contested by athletes, making it the largest event in history of the Games.

As part of the telecast schedule, Ten Sports will be bringing 12 hours of LIVE Programming from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm every day from 13th Nov till 26th Nov. Opening ceremony on the 12th of November will be telecast from 5:15 pm onwards, while the telecast of closing ceremony will start from 4:00 pm onwards on 17th November, 2010.

In case of overlap of events on TEN Sports there will be spill over on TEN Action. Ten Sports will be focusing in the Indian athletes centric events which include Boxing, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Hockey, Shooting, Archery, Football and Wrestling. Cricket will mark its entry in the events category for the first time. Indian cricket board is not sending the team in all important event.

Ace Sports anchors Mayanti Langer and Anand Narasimhan will be presenting the telecast of the Asian Games along with Chetan Baboor and Cedric D'Souza.
