Percept/H has been awarded the creative mandate for jewellery brands Asmi and Shuddhi from the house of Gitanjali Group. The account size for the combined business is estimated in the excess of Rs.12 crore.
There was no formal pitch involved. JWT is the incumbent on these accounts. However, JWT will continue handling other premium brands like Nakshatra, D'damas and Sangini.
Percept Group’s AMO Communications already handles the creative duties for another premium brand Gili.
Gitanjali is one of the first companies in India to introduce branded jewellery and has a dominant presence in retail jewellery. The Company has strong brands such as ‘D'Damas’, ‘Asmi’, ‘Sangini’, ‘Nakshatra’, ‘Gili’, etc and sells its products in India through its vast network of 1,250 outlets including outlets in host stores.
Shuddhi Jewels is a JV between MMTC Ltd and Gitanjali Group and was launched in April 2009. Shuddhi Jewels, a chain of stores that combines the strengths of two of the biggest companies in the jewellery segment to offer consumers both the benefits of a traditional jeweler and all the conveniences of a modern retail format.
