It was a day to remember as an overwhelming number of kids nationwide let go of their computer games, PSPs, homework and other routine INactivities. Nestle Milky Bar powers Nick Let's Just Play co-powered by Surf Excel, a pioneering movement by Nickelodeon, received a tremendous response  as kids stepped out of their coves to just indulge in an evening of fun and frolic, letting go of their stressful study routine! And big surprise, Bollywood superstars Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Tushar Kapoor were present there to support the initiative!!

Held at the Inorbit Mall, Malad, the Play Day saw hundreds of kids from all across the city participating in various playful activities that the orange brigade had organised for their beloved Nicksters. Not only did Nickelodeon go Poof!!! (blank) for 30 mins from 5 to 5.30 pm, encouraging millions of kids to come out play and get some mud on their clothes, but also took the initiative beyond the telly through the most innovative play events.

The evening was filled with on-ground frenzy and, let's just say that the kids present were not the only ones that had a blast; their parents too came out in the open, all taking a break from their over-packed schedules. Everyone was overjoyed to meet their favourite stars Kunal, Shreyas and Tushar! The madness put up by the Golmaal trio left everyone in splits. Kunal chose to join in some cricket masti, while Shreyas and Tushar decided to Squap away!! There was mind-boggling masti, magic and dhamaal as the kids whooshed through the obstacle course, their spidey-senses all ignited as they crawled through nets then climbed up ropes and swung around on tyres. Kids had a great time Skating, shooting the hoops while playing Basketball and playing Cricket. Not just that, a lot of them went crazy with their favourite new game, the 'Squap!' And if that wasn't enough, the kids put up brilliant shows with their dance and b-boying. The grand finale of the evening witnessed tonnes of kids converging to play games and boogie with the legendary Nicktoon SpongeBob Squarepants.

Commenting on this initiative, Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Senior VP & GM, Nickelodeon says, “It's great to see so many parents and kids out here supporting the Let's Just Play movement.  As a responsible broadcaster we are doing our bit to ensure that India's future generation of kids have a more balanced childhood which will make them better adults.  We remain committed to this cause, and I hope that parents and academicians will take this initiative forward.”

Aimed at imbibing active outdoor play in kids, 'Let's Just Play' truly believes that children today should stop paying the price of their overloaded schedules and the distractions of this multi-platform world. Nickelodeon initiated the “Play Life Study” to understand and bring to light the barriers of the simple joys of playing in a kid's life.  And to reach out to as many parents as possible, a massive movement on social media called “Not the Buck, Pass the Ball” was also launched. What better way to get the message across in a fun and innovative manner to millions of kids and parents across India!
