From attacking on the offices of the news channels to targeting the Editors of newspapers, Shiv Sena has done it all in the past. Now, the party is trying to terrorise Hindi General Entertainment Channel Colors on the issue of Pakistani citizens participating in its flagship reality show Bigg Boss. In fourth season of Bigg Boss, this is the second attempt by the political party to threaten Colors. Few days before, the party workers protested against the channel but now they have threatened the cable operators across Mumbai to blackout Colors during the telecast of Bigg Boss.

In Mumbai's Kandivali area, Hathway Cable will blackout Colors during the telecast of Bigg Boss. Similarly, Den Satellite from Ghatkopar to Pawai and Sonali Cable in Malad East and Incable will not air Colors starting 9 pm today. Thus, 90% of Mumbai's cable TV viewers will not be able to watch Bigg Boss on Colors.

This is a well known fact that all the cultural activities contribute in building good relations and confidence between India and Pakistan. Earlier, perhaps Shiv Sena too was apparently not having any objection with other channels including participants from Pakistan. But suddenly, they change their mood to sabotage the ongoing show on Colors.

Has the Shiv Sena anticipated bigger attention and publicity by protesting this show? Is there anything else other than politics behind this sabotage? What do you think could be the reasons? Leave your comments below.
