Ogilvy Creates Saina Nehwal's First TVC

Adani Wilmar Limited has launched a new campaign for its recently launch oil brand Fortune Plus. The company has signed on ace badminton player, Saina Nehwal, as the brand ambassador for this newly launched brand who features in the new TVC. Ogilvy & Mather, Bangalore has conceptualized the entire campaign. The TVC went on air on October 10, 2010.

The TVC tells a story of the ace badminton player who remains fit to become a champion. It starts when Saina was 5 years old and had been avoiding oily foods since then. The commercial shows her continuous fight with her temptations for food at different stages of growing age. Keeping herself away from oily food items makes her fit and champion at the age of 20. After winning a trophy, Saina comes back home and touches the food with her finger. She brings her finger close and rubs it to see no oil. She rolls her eyes in excitement. And then the audience are left with a playful and candid moment of Saina grabbing a bite of the dishes prepared with Fortune Plus.
