publive-imageDainik Bhaskar Group has announced the Think Negative 2010 contest open for entries. 'Think Negative' is an initiative of the Dainik Bhaskar Group aimed at harnessing creative talent of the Advertising fraternity  to help create print communication aimed at spreading  awareness of protective measures against AIDS and humane treatment of AIDS patients.

This year entries will be accepted in Hindi. The entries will be closed on 20th November.

Last five years have seen 350+ entries every year from individual professionals and agencies from Delhi, Mumbai and Tier-II towns like Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Indore.

Think Negative Contest' was launched in 2006 to educate and create awareness about AIDS within the readers of Bhaskar states such as MP, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and  Delhi.. While promoting the 'Dainik Bhaskar Think Negative, 2010' contest, symbolic connotations of “Thing Negative” have been chosen. Thus in entirety the message is “Think Negative” against AIDS. Thus the entire proposition becomes “there is a positive in every negative. The winning entry will be the one which can create an ad which makes a difference.

Sanjeev Kotnala, VP Marcomm at Bhaskar Group says, “As always our commitment towards our readers remains absolute and we constantly aim to be more than just a news provider to them. This is reflected in a host of activities of the group and the resultant trust and confidence the readers impose upon us. THINK NEGATIVE is an important part of this. This year we have also enhanced the First Prize to Rs 1 Lac and we do hope that this year again we shall surpass the quantum of entries.”

Think Negative in past has been judged eminent creative personalities like KV Sridhar, Priti Nair, Ravi Deshpande, Bobby Pawar and Ayaz Memon, Adrian Mendoza etc.
