Imagine Announces Two New Prime Time Shows

Both shows 'Gunahon Ka Devta' and 'Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo' to go on air from this month.

Imagine has once again beefed up its prime-time band with announcement of two brand new shows - Gunahon Ka Devta and Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo. Both the daily soaps will kick of this September. Gunahon Ka Devta & Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo will premier Monday to Friday, September 20, 2010 at 9:00 pm & 9:30 pm respectively! These shows will replace the existing shows 'Palkon ki Chhaon Mein' and 'Do Hanson Ka Jodaa'.

Announcing the two new shows, Saurabh Tewari Head of programming, Imagine says, “With these two new shows we kick start our new prime time line up. Both these shows have extraordinary stories and also herald the debut of 2 very distinctive protagonists on Indian TV.”

Commenting on Gunahon Ka Devta, Neelima Bajpai, Shakuntalam Telefilms Pvt Ltd, “We are extremely delighted and proud to continue our innings on Imagine with our latest offering Gunahon Ka Devta. I am confident that the show will strike a chord with the viewers across the country. Being inspired by real life events, the show will offer city folks an overview of how crime prevails in small towns.”

Commenting on Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo, Director & Producer, Nikhil Sinha says “What makes Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo stand apart is the storyline.  It is told through the perspective of a kind and talented young girl, who faces rejection because of the way she looks. However she does not give up hope and continues to have a never-say-die attitude."
