Bones Returns on Star World

The fifth season of the favourite crime busters on television opens with a warm response.

Murder mystery lovers are in for a treat this September as television's favourite crime busters Bones has returned to STAR World for the fifth season. Started on September 2 Bones opened up with a warm response on Star World.

The earlier seasons of bones have also been quite successful worldwide. This is year also Star World has lot of expectations from Bones and the channel is sure that the crime buster will break its earlier numbers.

The channel has got HSBC as the main sponsor for the show. Speaking to bestmediainfo.com, Saurabh Yagnik, GM & Senior Vice President- English channels said, “Bones is our newest offering in keeping with the promise that its popular predecessors such as Castle, White Collar and Criminal Minds had established. Going by the viewer feedback and the buzz in the online corridors, it is a hugely anticipated show and we know this season will not disappoint”.

Commenting on the expectations from this season in terms of ad revenue and increased audience, Yagnik said, “The target would be to double shares and grow revenues by 60%. We expect 50% share growth and revenues growth in line with share growth.”

Bones is an American crime drama television series that premiered on the Fox Network on September 13, 2005. The series premiere of Bones in America attracted an average of 10.0 million viewers with 6.7% household share and 11% household rating.
