Delhi: A brand adopts its consumers through its ads. BestMediaInfo has curated a list of ads that have taken their Ad game, beyond the screens.

This week, BestMediaInfo.com has included work done by Vanish, PayZapp, BigBasket, MakeMyTrip, Amazon, Kalyan Jewellers, EMotorad.

1. Vanish aims to #VanishTheDifference and maintain uniformity in uniforms

Vanish, a fabric stain removal brand and laundry additive, has launched #VanishTheDifference campaign for its new fabric whitener, Vanish Crystal White.

With the mission to ‘Make Uniforms, Uniform Again’, the campaign aims to showcase that variations in uniform brightness should not become the reason for children to lose out on any opportunity.

School uniforms were intended to ensure equal treatment for all students, fostering a sense of equality regardless of their background. Many schools have at least one of the uniforms in white, which often lose their brightness after a few washes. The brand believes that this often goes unnoticed by parents and may seem insignificant; however, a dull uniform can significantly impact a child who might miss out on opportunities due to differences in uniform appearance compared to their peers.

2. PayZapp by HDFC Bank gets RCB Players to sell, literally

PayZapp by HDFC Bank joins the cricket fever with its new ad featuring RCB players. Wondrlab India created this ad that highlights the irony of the players being choiceless in the ad but having multiple payment choices on the app.

The film gets popular RCB players to "sell" like never before.

3. BigBasket ‘walks the talk’ in latest film ‘delivered in 10 mins’

In its latest advertisement, BigBasket, the quick commerce platform, has taken a funny approach to its tagline of ‘delivering in 10 mins.’

The ad is created by Humour Me.

Being the official quick commerce partner of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2024, the brand roped in Virat Kohli, Lockie Ferguson and Alzarri Joseph for the film.

The advertisement, which lasts for 30 seconds, has the three players posing to the camera and Kohli says ‘delivering in 10 minutes.’ Before this take, Kohli and the other players are confused over the single line in the script and question ‘Yehi hai tumhara ad?’ (This is your ad?).

4. Jackie Shroff, Shankar Mahadevan, and Prabhu Deva are not the #AsliStar in MakeMyTrip’s latest film

The campaign comprises four films starring Bollywood's Bhidu - Jackie Shroff, the God of Dance - Prabhu Deva, and the 'Breathless' Grammy-winning singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan.

Each of these personalities are so distinct in their style, voice and attitude that anyone familiar with their work will recognise them even without seeing their face. MakeMyTrip plays on this insight to showcase the platform as the ‘Asli Star’ (real hero) of the campaign, highlighting the benefits of booking hotels and homestays on the platform.

Shroff dada drops Shakespeare-sque gems about maximising on life’s experiences whether on a trip or beyond; Deva shares his love for dancing with abandon especially when your hotel room has all the amenities conducive to it; and Mahadevan sings breathlessly to cover the myriad offers available on the platform.

5. Power couple Panday-Kapoor explore fashion on Amazon to be ‘Har Pal Fashionable’

The campaign centers around the insights of assembling a stylish outfit and finding the right combinations for a complete look such as sunglasses, watches, shoes.

In the first ad film, Panday assembles a head-to-toe fashionable look while Kapoor perceives it as a time-consuming task. While in the second ad film, Kapoor is seen ready to head out but Panday points out that he’s only halfway there and helps him find complementary accessories such as watches and loafers through the ‘Wear it with’ feature to elevate his ensemble into a fashionable look.

Both the films aim to highlight Amazon Fashion’s delivery on time, easy returns and no convenience fee, and wide selection.

6. Kalyan Jewellers promotes Nimah heritage jewellery with Rashmika Mandanna and Kalyani Priyadarshan

The ad film has industry stalwarts coming together, aimed to showcase the allure of heritage jewellery designs from Kalyan Jewellers’ Nimah collection. The filmmaker is Priyadarshan and the art director is Sabu Cyril. Diwakar Mani’s camera work and Pony Prakash Raj’s choreography were also involved.

7. EMotorad gets Dhoni singing ‘Bole Jo Koyal’ to promote their E-Cycles

EMotorad dropped a new campaign that got MS Dhoni singing ‘Bole Jo Koyal’ while riding their e-cycle. The video is an ode to the meme that went viral in 2019, leaving Mahi fans in splits that featured a Mahi look-alike grooving to Bole jo Koyal.

The brand wanted to bring the same meme to life, but this time, getting Dhoni to sing the song while educating customers about their e-cycles.

In their latest ad campaign, MS Dhoni is riding a T-rex Air EMotorad e-cycle from their premium Desire range. The ad shows two animated koyals admiring Captain Cool and his brand-new ride while discussing the cycle's features, such as its removable battery, 70+ km range, and other specifications.
