CNBC International appoints Nick Wrenn as VP of Events and Programming

CNBC announced that Nick Wrenn has joined as Vice-President of Events and Programming at CNBC International.

In this new role, Wrenn will oversee feature programming and the international events strategy, covering both editorial and sponsored events.

Reporting to John Casey, President and Managing Director of CNBC International, Wrenn will be based in London and be part of Casey’s senior leadership team.

Wrenn has joined from Meta where he was the News Programs and Policy Lead and led a news partnerships team.

Prior to this, Wrenn was Vice-President and Managing Editor at CNN, where he headed up global teams across the US, EMEA and APAC regions.

“With a track record of high-impact strategic leadership, Nick will play an integral role in accelerating the growth of the CNBC brand across international markets and platforms,” said Casey. “His focus will be on strengthening and building new relationships with editorial and commercial partners while expanding our slate of owned and partner events.”
