Rahul Shivshankar quits Times Now as Editorial Director and Editor-in-Chief

Rahul Shivshankar, Editorial Director and Editor-in-Chief, at Times Now has quit the news channel. 

He joined the broadcast arm of Bennett Coleman & Company in 2016 as Chief Editor. Before joining Times Now, he was the Editor-in-Chief at NewsX. This was Shivshankar’s second stint at the English news channel. 

In his first stint, he worked closely with Arnab Goswami before he quit the channel as Senior Editor to join Headlines Today (now India Today Television) as Executive Editor.

Shivshankar joined NewsX as Managing Editor in September 2013 and was elevated to Editor-in-Chief role after a year.

In a career spanning over 26+ years, Shivshankar has written several comment pieces on current affairs and extensively documented the attack on Nariman House in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, in an anthology of hard-hitting investigative narratives published by Roli Books.
