Asianet News Network (ANN) has announced the launch of its latest bilingual digital news platform in English and Hindi â MyNation.com. Abhijit Majumder, former Managing Editor, Mail Today, has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief.
With this launch, the groupâs digital news media ventures, which has reach in four southern languages, will enter the national English and Hindi digital news segment. With digital being the growth driver for news, MyNation is claimed to be seen as a strong challenger to Indiaâs established legacy news brands.

Majumder, who had been part of Mail Today since 2015, has also previously worked with Mid-Day as its Executive Editor and was also the Resident Editor of Hindustan Times, Delhi.
