PepsiCo's Quaker Oats and 7Up creative mandate up for grabs

Global food and beverages giant PepsiCo India has called for a multi-agency creative pitch for two of its prestigious brands 7Up and Quaker Oats. India’s top agencies are participating in the pitch which is currently underway in Delhi.

Multiple sources confirmed the development with BestMediaInfo.com.

The incumbent agency on both the accounts is BBDO India.

7Up’s creative account is pegged to be between Rs 40-60 crore. Before BBDO India, the account was with JWT. The soft drink brand’s creative mandate has been with BBDO since the agency announced its launch in India in 2007.

Josy Paul, who was previously the National Creative Director at JWT, also moved to BBDO India as the Chairman and NCD to launch the agency in India. Likewise, JWT also lost Quaker Oats to BBDO India in a few months.

In the meanwhile, BestMediaInfo.com broke the news about Ajai Jhala, CEO, BBDO India, quitting BBDO India as CEO.
